Why robotics matters
The team gives students hands-on experience in engineering, programming, and leadership. Competing in the FIRST® Tech Challenge, they learn teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation. These are the skills that prepare them to be tomorrow’s workforce.

Where your support goes
Sponsorships let every student take part in robotics with no cost to join. Your support covers the essentials that let us build, compete, and grow:
- Competition fees. Registration for program, league, and state events.
- Challenge field and equipment. FIRST releases a new game each year with arena elements we must buy to practice and compete.
- Robot parts. Motors, controllers, sensors, 3D-printing supplies, and structural components.
- Upgrades through the season. Enhancements and repairs as the team learns and adapts its strategy.
- Team costs. Matching shirts, marketing materials, and pit displays that represent Indianola.
- Travel. Transportation and lodging as we advance to higher levels of competition.
